Visual Basic (.NET) Developer

Microsoft .NETILFIRON is currently hiring for a Visual Basic (.NET) Developer to work with a local client based in Frohnleiten, Austria.

The Visual Basic Programmer will be expected to develop, distribute and support software front end applications.

Primary duties will be to perform full life cycle Visual Basic development from business requirements through testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Synthesize business requirements into technical specifications and finalize project and system documentation
  • Develop VB and VBA interfaces, enhancements, conversions
  • Rework/debug prior VB coding
  • Develop and administer test plans
  • Software roll-out
  • Assist and train users during implementation

Requirements
Candidates must have:

  • At least 1 year experience in Visual Basic (.NET) Development
  • Working knowledge of all versions of HTML in use
  • Working knowledge of Object Oriented system design principles
  • Working knowledge of Project Management principles (Microsoft Project)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • A degree in a technology related field such as math, science, computer science, or engineering preferred

Languages:

  • English: good
  • German: basic, preferred but NOT required

Travel required:

  • Austria-wide 0-50%
  • International
